So back for day two at ISPO 2009 where we broaden our horizons and really start to get going! Welcome back to the ISPO! Hope you had a good night's sleep, because we didn't! We did however get up early to go interview the guys at Völkl, interview which we won't be able to show you because of technical problems - as I said, it was a short night. So, next to getting many more video overviews about next year's skis - including a presentation of the new HEAD Models by rider Fabio Studer, we also took the time to look into what everyone outside the ski industry was doing. This is how we met the Yeti, saw some really cool bikes, took some photos of a Penthouse model and even witnessed a 50s style striptease. We ended up chillin' at the Völkl booth, listening to the live and unplugged concert of Matt Reardon, before going over to Orage where today's big happening was taking place. After a couple drinks - non-alcoholic of course!!! - we met up with Nico Zacek, Martin Misof and Flo Wieser, making appointments for tomorrow. A few people showed up... Thought it was over? Nope! We suddenly realized that we were at the wrong exit, at the other end of the Messe München. And since this is ISPO and nothing is small, this meant a loong walk to the car... Naaah, don't feel like going around the outside! Went back in, crashed a couple more parties (there's one in every hall in the exhibition center), including cake-eating with pink wigs at the Level booth, moustache night at Nidecker, and county fair - with special guest drunken superman in his laundry day suit - at Special Blend and Forum. Took us over an hour to leave...
